About me ... born and raised in Bucharest, Romania. I've been living in the United States since 1993.

I spent several good years going to an after hours Arts School while going to school and learned I wasn't a good painter, nor was I a good sculptor. They were not teaching photography at that school, but what I did learn was art history, and learned I had a love for art in general.

In 2004 I enrolled in the complete Professional Photography program offered by the New York Institute of Photography and graduated three years later and learned a thing or two in the process.

Photography has been an all consuming passion for me for a very long time. So ...

... here comes Watermoods Photography. I'm a Water sign, and water - like life - is moody and unpredictable (not me, of course ... but life, art and photography can be!)

My style is to use natural lighting (whenever possible), natural environment, and capture natural (moody, fleeting) expressions using a documentary style.

My creative lifestyle photography is all about you, your relationships, your environment, what you do, who you are. I like to create the kind of images that are unique and different and capture something special about you. If you prefer portraits that reflect a more traditional style, then I'm probably not the right photographer for you.
