About Me - Dana C Voss

Born in Bucharest, Romania, I've lived in the United States since 1993.  I have called several places "home", have learned from each of them and have made a few great friends along the way: Bucharest - Romania, Bloomington - Indiana, Baton Rouge - Louisiana, Washington D.C. and currently Naples - Florida.

An Information Technology professional by trade, I have had a lifelong passion for photography. I am always on the lookout for opportunities in street photography, particularly the opportunity to capture sensual, unusual, dreamlike or humorous moments of the every day.

"Sit long enough and the world of pictures will come to you" - David Alan Harvey

"The exciting thing for me is to actually end up coming back with something that didn't even really exist, although it did, but it was such a tangential little brief quotidian moment that the only reason it has any clarity now is because of the act of street photography" - Gus Powell

‎"If it makes you laugh, if it makes you cry, if it rips out your heart, that’s a good picture." - Eddie Adams

“The camera always points both ways. In expressing your subject you also express yourself.” FP
